VALIANT FIRSTS: PUNK MAMBO


Punk Mambo is now starring in a new solo mini-series from Valiant Entertainment. Written by Cullen Bunn, with artwork by Adam Gorham, the new series features the hard-living voodoo priestess investigating a mystery. The first issue, released in April 2018, was a hit with readers with its punk and voodoo aesthetic. As a result, there has been an increased interest in the character's previous appearances.


Shadowman #13 was released in December of 2013 and introduced Punk Mambo.

Unity #1 (November 13, 2013) editorial by Warren Simons featured a teaser panel of Punk Mambo.


Punk Mambo starred in her own #0 one-shot in 2014. The Rian Hughes Pullbox Variant and Kalman Andrasofszky Incentive Variant covers command a premium when they can be located. Since her debut, she has shown up in other Valiant Entertainment comics including Shadowman End Times, Ninjak, Rapture, and Bloodshot Reborn. With the increased interest in Punk Mambo, it looks like the character is here to stay.
